The Stag and His Reflection

An Ant and The Grasshopper Story

ant-and-grasshopper-story-pics
Once there lived an ant and a grasshopper in a grassy meadow. There lived an ant with her family. All day long the ant would work hard, collecting grains of wheat from the farmer’s field far away. She would hurry to the field every morning, as soon as it was light enough to see by, and toil back with a heavy grain of wheat balanced on her head.

On a bright sunny day, when an ant was working hard to collect food, the grasshopper would look at her and say, ”Why do you work so hard? Summers are for fun and games. Come, listen to my song”. But the ant would ignore him and continue working.

As the days of winter came by, the grasshopper had nothing to eat. He begged the ant for food, but she said, ”When I worked hard, you sang. Go away, there is no food for you”. The grasshopper learned his lesson the hard way.

Moral: Work hard so you can reap the benefits tomorrow.

The hare and the tortoise story with moral lesson

Once upon a time in a pond there lived a tortoise. There was a big forest near to the pond. There lived a cute hare. The hare is the fastest creature in the jungle. He is very boastful of himself. One day, he came across the tortoise. He saw that tortoise was walking very slowly. He challenges the slowest creature, tortoise for a race. The hare was very sure that he would win it easily.

During the race, the hare feels sleepy and takes a nap in the middle of the race, thinking he would win the race anyway. And when he wakes up, he sees the tortoise on the other side of the finish line, much to his surprise.

Moral: Never brag about your skills or achievements and always keep on trying.
